Identity
As I began a serious journey with the Lord, I found myself in a tumultuous whirlwind of never-ending weeping and emotion. I had no idea what was going on, and the frustration of finding myself in the middle of this confusion threw me into anger and mental battles that left me feeling defeated. I had no idea what I had walked into, and many times I came close to giving up.
God, in His mercy, had already designed a path for me to taste and witness redemption, but my eyes had not yet seen it. I was on my way to finding out who I am—not by words spoken out of ignorance and hate, but through love, grace, and mercy.
